Filter tips

September is a GREAT time to change your furnace filter as we transition from Summer to Fall here in Wisconsin.
Make a note and put it near your furnace as a reminder of the filter size and last date changed, or in your computer or whatever will work for you.
Some filters should be changed monthly, some every 3 months and some can last as long as 6 months. I have never seen one last 1 year.

Allergy tip

According to the CDC, if you combine virus droplets with water droplets in the air, they become heavy that they fall and can't be inhaled.
It is recommended that you set your humidity level between 30% and 40%. This setting should provide enough flu-fighting water vapor without spurring mold growth, which can trigger allergies.
